Mr.Burin Warunphan began his music performance in 1984 with keen interest and high competence. He later became a music instructor and conductor in 1990. He passed through various musical training programs both in Thailand and abroad. As a competent band instructor and conductor,
Mr.Burin led the band in various competitions both in Thailand and in foreign countries. For example, in 1992, Assumption College Lampang Band won the Crown’s Prince Cup Championship plus a special trophy for exceptional performance in the Thai traditional music category.
In 1998, Assumption College Lampang Band together with Montfort College Band, was selected by the organization of Pasadena Tournament of Roses to take part inthe grand procession of Floral floats ofthe 109th Roses Parade held in Pasadena, California, the United States of America on the 1st of January 1998. In 2002, Assumption College Lampang Band again won the Crown’s Prince Cup Championship plus a gold medal plaque for their outstanding extra skills, day prize and a special trophy for exceptional in the marching and displays part. In 2004, Assumption College Lampang Band won the King’s Cup Championship in the 6th Asian Symphonic Band Competition. In 2008, Assumption College Lampang Band won the 4th Prize in the 1st annual Singapore International Bandheld in the Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore.
Mr.Burin Warunphan is at present the chief of music department work at Assumption College Lampang. Besides he is an advisor to various bands belonging to St.Gabriel’s Foundation School in Thailand.
